A 3-alarm fire destroyed an entire building in the Strafford Station Apartment complex leaving dozens of people homeless and left in the cold. The fire which began just before 9:30 Saturday morning took firefighters from roughly 15 fire companies about 2 hours to bring under control. No residents or firefighters were injured in the fire. Personnel from Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties responded to the fire scene. The American Red Cross and the complex management are working to place the residents in a local hotel for the weekend, as well as get them food and clothing.
