While Downingtown West's girls basketball team was dominating the Avon Grove Girls team in Downingtown, a man was being shot in the 200 block of Middle Alley in West Chester Borough, around 7pm Tuesday. The man was dropped off by a privately owned vehicle at Chester County Hospital which then fled the scene.
